Assorted Concert Programs 1976 - 1982

This 1970s Phase Shifter enabled
bassist John Sandage to generate
the "Disco Funk" sound required in
the SMHS Jazz band rendition of
the Beatles classic "Get Back".

On a recent outing to Claremont
trombonist John Sandage (SMHS '80)
had his LP of Huntington's 1973 spring concert
personalized by maestro Thomas Murie.
Prior to signing, Murie secured an agreement
from Sandage prohibiting the LP's sale on
eBay or any other online auction site.

The SMHS marching band appears
prominently in this 1979 issue of
the "Titan Shield".

Found on an old C-60 audio cassette, this 1979 recording captured the all too familiar, blood pressure raising, audio that dominated many of our teen age years.

SMHS “tardy” bell.
